Ava Leigh + Ross
West Texas had other plans—a cold front blew in right before the wedding, threatening to slow down just about everyone involved. But…thanks to a very intuitive and unshakable planner (looking at you, Michelle), I rolled into @visitmarathontexas a few days early and was welcomed like family. The @gagehotel became home base, the wind howled, and the sky put on a show. Somehow, it all felt exactly right.
From the moment I arrived, the bride + groom, their families, their friends—even the folks working behind the scenes—made it feel less like work and more like being invited into something real. There was a warmth in the mountain desert that had nothing to do with the weather.
This film is a love letter to that weekend. To the stillness of the landscape and the loud laughter from inside the local bar + coffee shop. To dusty boots, heartfelt speeches, dance-floor chaos, and the kind of hospitality that sticks with you.
Every little detail—planned and unplanned—came together to create an experience no one will forget. Hopefully, this film brings you back to it, or transports you straight into it, whether you were there or just wish you had been.
